The Amazing Son In Law Chapter 94
In less than five minutes, the dishes that had just been freshly prepared on the table had all rotted and spoiled, insects and mosquitoes swarming out in clusters.
In the yard, a rooster raised by the White family was crowing away.
Several mosquitoes darted towards the rooster at incredible speed. Within just over ten seconds, the rooster let out a cry, flapped its wings, fell to the ground, and writhed before dying.
A swarm of black mosquitoes emerged from the feathers of the dead chicken and ascended into the air.
The black mosquitoes filled the sky, swirling towards the crowd like a violent storm.
Chaos erupted in the yard as people scrambled to avoid them.
These black mosquitoes were highly venomous. They not only bit people but could also penetrate the skin through open wounds.
Although the mosquitoes were tiny, no bigger than grains of sand, getting bitten by one would result in excruciating pain.
Those affected would swell visibly and experience intolerable agony.
The skilled individuals present deployed their best methods, casting talismans and chanting spells.
Some even took refuge under tables, while others leapt into the pool, screaming in panic.
“What on earth is happening?” Jasmine exclaimed, terrified.
“This is a corpse magic!” Finn replied, both shocked and furious. “It’s made from the corpse of an infant from Julesburg. I can’t believe Jack Yaleman would summon such a malevolent creature.”
Jack Yaleman laughed maliciously and declared, “This corpse magic is crafted from a fetus it’s the deadliest kind. If you don’t respect me, none of you will escape.”
The swarm of black mosquitoes continued to multiply, and an elderly man was bitten, swelling up and vomiting black blood before collapsing to the ground.
The sight of the black mosquitoes made everyone’s skin crawl, and Jasmine was equally unsettled.
But then she noticed something surprising, there were no mosquitoes near Charlie!
Whenever the mosquitoes approached him, they instantly turned into black ash, as if repelled by something profoundly terrifying!
Charlie, wearing a smug smile, walked purposefully towards Jack Yaleman, holding a white shell talisman in his hand.
This talisman was the Thunder Order he had created! The shell talisman emanated a faint glow, with threads of lightning crackling around it.
Jack Yaleman watched in disbelief and murmured, “What’s happening? How can this be…?”
Charlie appeared to be enveloped in a radiant aura, almost like a divine being, his expression icy.
“Impossible! The corpse magic has already been formed and no one can handle it!” Jack Yaleman shouted hoarsely.
Charlie regarded Jack Yaleman with disdain and scoffed, “You dare call yourself a Master with such pathetic tricks? Today, you will witness true supernatural power!”
Then, Charlie proclaimed, “Thunder is coming!”
The moment he finished speaking, a tremendous sound erupted!
“Boom!”
In an instant, a deafening roar resonated from the skies, rapidly transforming the previously clear sky into a mass of dark clouds!
Before long, the heavens were completely shrouded by ominous clouds!
“This is unbelievable!” Finn exclaimed, staring upward, rendered speechless by the sight.
Everyone, Jasmine included, wore similar expressions of astonishment.
Graham murmured, “It’s a miracle, this has to be a miracle!”
In the next moment, a silver lightning bolt snaked down from the sky!
“Crack!”
The lightning struck the mosquitoes, incinerating a substantial number of them in an instant.
Tables and chairs splintered, trees toppled and the air was saturated with the acrid smell of burning.
Charlie stood calmly with his hands behind his back, looking up with cold determination, with streaks of lightning crackling around him, resembling a deity descending from the heavens!
Strong winds whipped through the courtyard as heavy rain began to fall, washing away the charred remnants scattered on the ground.
A few seconds later, the crowd snapped back to reality, scrambling in fear of being struck by lightning.
“Oh my god, he… he isn’t human! He’s a god!”
“Don’t hit me! I’ll kneel and apologize to Mr. Wade!”
“Please, help me! I was wrong!”
Several individuals dropped to their knees, bowing before Charlie.
Graham, terrified, tucked himself under the table, overwhelmed by reverence.
Yet, the thunder seemed to have a mind of its own, targeting only the mosquitoes and leaving the people unharmed.
Jack Yaleman’s expression was one of utter shock and terror! He never imagined Charlie possessed such formidable power!
In comparison, he felt like a mere insect! If the raging thunder struck him, he doubted he’d even remain intact!
In a panic, he scrambled to his feet and rolled out of the courtyard, desperate to escape and vowing never to return to Aurous Hill. He couldn’t think about being a respected figure here anymore!
“Trying to run away?”
Charlie smirked coldly and pointed, “More thunder!”
“Boom!”
A bolt of lightning struck Jack Yaleman on the head, sending him crashing to the ground and smashing the pottery jar he held.
His hands throbbed with pain and fear gripped him as he trembled and screamed.
“Master Wade! Please, Master Wade… spare my life…”
Charlie’s expression remained frosty as he advanced toward him step by step.
“Using a fetus to refine Magic is utterly against the laws of nature and morality!”
“You are wicked and the heavens are right to punish you! I will bring you that punishment today with thunder! Do you accept your fate?”
Jack Yaleman’s mouth opened wide in horror, but words escaped him. He could only watch as lightning crackled ominously above him, wailing in despair, as if today marked his end…
Why! Why did such a terrifying force exist in Aurous Hill? Why had he been so foolish to provoke it…?
“Boom!”
Just as Jack Yaleman pondered the unfolding events, several bolts of lightning struck simultaneously, one of which struck him directly!
Mr. Jack Yaleman, who had been so aggressively arrogant moments ago, didn’t even have time to scream before he was left scorched and lifeless on the ground.
What remained of him was no longer human, reduced to a charred, lifeless husk. The scent of burning flesh filled the yard, nauseating those present.
“The rain has ceased and the winds pick up!”
With a wave of his hand, Charlie miraculously brought the torrential rain to an abrupt stop. A gust of wind rose from the ground, stirring sand and debris and sweeping away the stench of charred remains.
In the midst of the swirling winds, Charlie’s demeanor remained unflappable, as if nothing out of the ordinary had occurred.
But the people in the courtyard were already in shock, their mouths agape.
Adam trembled in fear, too afraid to say a word. Had Charlie unleashed that lightning upon him then, he would have been dead. He now understood that Charlie had spared him all along, which was why he was still standing.
“Master Wade, you… you truly are a god!”
Graham’s voice quivered as he dropped to his knees, clasping his hands in front of Charlie.
Zeke White was equally terrified he also fell to his knees, crawling several steps closer to Charlie while repeatedly bowing in supplication.
“Master Wade, please let me live! I was misled and colluded with Mr. Yaleman… no, with Your the God! Please spare me… I swear I will serve you faithfully and do anything you ask!”
Charlie cast a cool glance at him while walking past Zeke White.
Finn spoke with reverence, “From this day forth, Master Wade shall be recognized as the venerable leader of Newton! From now on, the metaphysical community of Newton will heed your commands.”
Commanding the entire metaphysical community of Newton! Moments ago, they had been in a battle for their lives, yet now there were no objections. Everyone was convinced and in unison, they shouted their agreement.
“Master Wade, please give us your orders for Aurous Hill!”
