Charlie furrowed his brows slightly and addressed the crowd, “I am not a practitioner of metaphysics, nor do I study Feng Shui or Taoism. I have no interest in metaphysics. From now on, let Finn take charge of your matters.”
Once he finished, the assembled crowd gasped in disbelief.

Matthew Gibson also approached and bowed his head humbly, saying, “Thank you, Master Wade, for eliminating this threat! From now on, I am ready to heed any commands from you, and any under my care will also be respectful towards you!”
“I am willing to follow your orders!”
Seeing these two step forward to express their admiration, the others quickly joined in to flatter Charlie. Some invited him to dinner, others pledged their loyalty, while a few offered gifts and money, forming a tight circle around him.
Finn added, “Today’s banquet is sponsored by the White family with 150 million, originally intended as rewards for each winner. Now that Master Wade is first, it is only fitting that the prize be awarded to him.”

After a moment, Zeke declared, “Mr. Wade, to express my sincere regret, I would like to offer you a Villa. Once I arrange for it to be cleaned, I will present you with the key. Please overlook my previous offenses!”
A Villa? Charlie furrowed his brow slightly.
With his wealth, a Villa was trivial.
However, purchasing one himself would be inappropriate, he couldn’t explain the source of funds to his wife.
But if someone offered him a villa, there was no reason for him to refuse.
After all, his family still lived in their old home and they genuinely needed to upgrade their living situation.
Even though Zeke was rather distasteful, his remorse was evident and he wasn’t beyond redemption.
So Charlie nodded and replied, “That is very generous of you. Let’s settle on this. But know that if you make such egregious mistakes again, I won’t be so accommodating!”
Zeke beamed and immediately kowtowed in thanks, saying, “Thank you, Mr. Wade, for your mercy! I will deeply reflect on this and never repeat my errors!”
“Yes.” Charlie nodded in approval.
Then he turned his gaze towards Graham, who appeared visibly frightened.
He addressed him calmly, “Graham, does your family believe that I, Charlie, cheated you out of your money?”
Graham’s legs buckled, and he fell to the ground, his voice trembling, “I would never! I was just confused momentarily and had doubts about Mr. Wade. Now I am entirely convinced that you are the true master of metaphysics. Please punish me, Mr. Wade!”
As he spoke, he seized a frightened Adam and shouted, “You fool! Get down on your knees!”
Adam was already trembling in fear and immediately knelt, stuttering, “Mr. Wade, I was wrong, Mr. Wade! Please forgive me, I truly didn’t mean to question you!”
Graham struck him hard across the face, followed by another slap. He delivered a flurry of blows, leaving Adam’s cheeks swollen and bruised.
Adam remained still, crying quietly. At this moment, the pain from the beating was nothing compared to his fear of Charlie unleashing a thunderbolt upon him, as he had done to Jack Yaleman…

“Ridiculous!” Elaine retorted angrily, “How can someone like you, who is useless, question Kevin’s abilities?”
The other relatives were all relying on Kevin to help them recover their hard-earned money, so when Charlie spoke against him, it naturally bred dissatisfaction among them.
Facing the overwhelming disapproval, Charlie responded calmly, “Mom, you can stay here, but it’s better if you don’t interfere.”
Elaine ignored his suggestion completely and shouted back, “Shut your mouth! What gives you the right to speak here?!”
Kevin’s face was filled with arrogance as he laughed derisively, “You may not have much skill, but you sure are envious. Do you really think I’m some loser like you who can only shout empty slogans?”

Upon arriving, he shouted loudly at the employees blocking the entrance, “Go tell your superiors to refund these uncles and aunts immediately! If you don’t, I will summon my legal team and the authorities to have you and your boss arrested!”
Elaine chimed in, “Did you hear that? We have support now! If your fraudulent company doesn’t refund the money, be careful, because Mr. White will send you all to jail!”
The young employee at the front appeared nervous and quickly replied, “I’m sorry, I’m just a security guard here and not in charge of any of this!”
Kevin replied coolly, “Then you should call your boss and let him know that I’m Kevin from the White family in Aurous Hill! He needs to come handle this personally, or he will face the consequences!”
As he spoke, Kevin’s expression was filled with arrogance.
Although the White family was not the most powerful in Aurous Hill, they were certainly a well-regarded family.

Axel felt relieved and quickly expressed his gratitude, “Thank you, Don Albert!”
Don Albert smiled pleasantly, “In the future, just focus on business. As long as you’re making money, I’ll back you up.”
Axel was overjoyed and humbly replied, “Thank you, Don Albert! With your support, I will continue to work hard and make a fortune together!”
Although Axel lacked an impressive background in Aurous Hill, his intelligence and unscrupulousness were his advantages.
He engaged in financial schemes and fraud, knowing he could not handle such large sums alone, so he sought Don Albert’s assistance in exchange for a share of his illegal profits.

“The White family?” Bill The Bear scoffed, “What’s so special about the White family?”
With a dismissive spit, Bill The Bear kicked Gerald White to the ground, his voice icy, “Don Albert just taught a fool from the White family a lesson yesterday, slapping him ten thousand times. How dare you even mention the White family to me?”
“Ah?” Gerald White’s shock was palpable.
He had thought that his brother had been robbed by gangsters, but he never expected that it was Don Albert who had beaten him!
As the fear coursed through him, Bill The Bear raised a stick and went for Gerald’s head, swinging it down hard!
With a loud thud!
Gerald felt a wave of dizziness wash over him, his head ringing, blood spilling from his mouth and nose, and his vision blurring in an instant.
Wendy cried out, her voice full of terror!
Gerald was her fiancé, her only chance to marry into the White family. If anything happened to him, her life would be shattered.
“Call for an ambulance! Call for help!”
Wendy shouted in panic, her hands trembling as she fumbled for her cell phone, but terror overwhelmed her, leaving her unable to dial and only able to scream.
Bill The Bear scowled and cursed, “Shut up! Someone, slap this girl to make her stop talking!”
“Right away, Bill The Bear!”
The younger gang members grinned maliciously. They relished crushing beautiful things, and Wendy, with her fierce spirit, was a prime target.
Panic surged through Wendy; she wanted to flee but found herself backed against a wall with no escape.
“Come here, you!”
A burly one-eyed man yanked Wendy’s hair with force, pulling her up.
He then began to rain down blows on her face.
These thugs were seasoned fighters who had been with Bill The Bear for years, and they could easily beat her to a pulp.
After just two or three hits, Wendy’s face was left swollen and bloodied, resembling a grotesque pig’s head, with blood mingling with spit falling to the ground.
Even if she received immediate medical treatment, the lingering scars from such a brutal beating would mark her for life, nearly resulting in disfigurement!
Loreen, watching from the side, was horrified by Bill The Bear’s brutality. She trembled and leaned closely against Charlie, their bodies nearly pressed together.
At that moment, Bill The Bear spotted Charlie and Loreen huddled in the corner and snarled, “And what about those two? Beat them up! They dare to take the diamond box I prepared for my guests; they deserve to die!”
One of his thugs showed no mercy as he reached for Loreen.
“Let’s see who dares to touch her!”
Charlie’s eyes turned icy as he kicked the thug hard, sending him crashing to the ground.
Bill The Bear’s expression darkened, and he spat, “Who the hell are you?”
Charlie replied coolly, “I’m someone you cannot afford to offend!”
“Kid, you’re asking for trouble!”
Charlie merely shook his head as he dialed Don Albert’s number directly.
“Don Albert, I’m in the diamond box right now, come down and see me immediately!”
With that, he ended the call and directed a cold stare at Bill The Bear.
Loreen’s face went pale. Harold had just boasted about knowing Don Albert, yet he had suffered greatly. Now Charlie was so brazenly disrespectful in front of Bill The Bear—he was putting his life on the line.
Meanwhile, Wendy, now a battered mess, felt a surge of fear upon hearing Charlie’s words. Why was this guy still acting so bravely? Was he trying to get them all killed?
Bill The Bear sneered, clearly unimpressed, “You dare to offend Don Albert in front of me? You must really want to die!”
As soon as he finished speaking, Bill The Bear gestured to his gang, commanding fiercely, “Kill him!”
Suddenly, a furious voice roared from outside the room, “What the hell, Bill! Do you want to die? How dare you lay a finger on Mr. Wade! I’ll chop you up and feed you to the dogs, believe it or not!”
Bill The Bear froze, as if struck by lightning!

Moments later, Don Albert Hong barged in, dragging Bill The Bear down, “You’re so blind that you can’t even recognize Mr. Wade! I’ll put you six feet under!”
Don Albert hurled insults while kicking Bill The Bear mercilessly.
The once arrogant Bill The Bear now resembled a frightened dog.
Loreen stood in shock. What was happening?
The gang members were in a panic too. This young man was actually Mr. Wade? They had just tried to attack him—what were they thinking?
Don Albert continued to scold the group, “And you lot, what are you waiting for? Kneel and apologize to Mr. Wade this instant!”
“Mr. Wade, I was blind and almost harmed you. Please spare our lives!”
The thugs dropped to their knees, banging their heads against the floor in frantic apologies.
Bill The Bear was terrified beyond measure, kneeling and slapping his face in a desperate plea, “I’m sorry, Mr. Wade! Please forgive me this time!”
Don Albert followed suit, slapping his own face, “Mr. Wade, it’s entirely my fault for my men bumping into you and your friends.”
Charlie glanced at Loreen and stated calmly, “I merely brought my wife’s best friend out for dinner.”
He then turned back to the others with cold indifference, “They aren’t my friends.”
Loreen was utterly stunned!
It turned out Charlie hadn’t been bragging at all; he actually had reserved the top diamond box at Heaven Springs.
More importantly, this box was set aside for him by Don Albert himself!
Reflecting on how she had belittled Charlie earlier, an intense blush of shame flooded Loreen.
At that moment, Harold was quaking in fear at the realization! What was happening? This so-called loser Charlie was actually friends with Don Albert?
Wendy was equally taken aback. Charlie actually knew Don Albert!
What was most startling was how polite Don Albert was being to him!
Then she glanced over at her fiancé, Gerald White, who lay unconscious, blood pouring down his head!
Don Albert wiped the sweat from his brow and assured, “Mr. Wade, don’t worry. There won’t be a next time. You can come to Heaven Springs to dine in the diamond box anytime in the future. If any of my men fail to recognize you again, I’ll have their eyes removed!”
Charlie nodded and said to Loreen, “Loreen, we’ve eaten. It’s getting chaotic here; let’s leave!”
Loreen, still in disbelief, asked instinctively, “What about the others?”
As she glanced at the unfortunate sight of Harold, Gerald, and Wendy, concern washed over her.
Charlie replied nonchalantly, “Let Don Albert take care of it.”
Don Albert quickly reassured them, “Don’t worry, Mr. Wade, I’ll arrange an ambulance to take him to the hospital for treatment!”
“Alright.” Charlie nodded. “Then we’ll take our leave.”
Loreen remained dazed, following Charlie out of Heaven Springs in a trance.
Once outside, she struggled to collect her thoughts, feeling as if Charlie had become enveloped in a thick mist, mysterious and profound.
“Charlie, what happened today…”
Before Loreen could finish, Charlie interrupted her, saying calmly, “Loreen, please keep today’s events a secret for me. If Claire finds out that I associate with underground figures like Don Albert, she’ll be furious.”
Loreen nodded reluctantly, “Okay, I understand.”
After Charlie and Loreen left, Don Albert summoned an ambulance to take the injured parties to the hospital.
Wendy’s face had been so badly beaten that her jaw was deformed, resulting in what was essentially disfigurement.
One of Harold’s hands was nearly incapacitated, and he would require a considerable recovery time.
As for Gerald, he had suffered a severe concussion. Although he was no longer in danger of dying, the lasting effects would ensure he suffered for the rest of his life!

The yellow-faced woman slapped Claire across the face, instantly snapping her into reality.
Claire clutched her cheek, staring at the vicious woman before her and instinctively asked, “Who are you? What do you want with me?”
Gritting her teeth, the yellow-faced woman snarled, “What do I want? I’m going to beat you to a pulp!”
She then yelled to the bodyguard nearby, “Where’s the knife? Hand it over! I want to ruin this filthy wretch’s face!”
“Yes, Miss!”
The bodyguard quickly produced a sharp knife and added, “Miss, don’t dirty your hands with someone like this, let me handle it!”
In response, the yellow-faced woman slapped him and snatched the knife from his grip, cursing, “How dare you talk back to me at a time like this!”
The bodyguard dropped to his knees in fear and pleaded, “Miss, I was wrong! Please forgive me!”
The yellow-faced woman kicked him aside, shouting angrily, “Get out of my way!”
She advanced toward Claire with the knife, intent on slicing her face.
Terror coursed through Claire, her body trembling in fear as she struggled to break free, but the bodyguards held her firmly, rendering her unable to move. Her soft body lacked the strength to resist.
At that critical moment, a voice rang out, “Put down the knife!”
The yellow-faced woman turned to see a young man rush in, flanked by ten men dressed in black!
“Who are you, you fool? How dare you interfere in my affairs? Do you know who I am?”
Charlie clenched his teeth and replied, “I don’t care who you are!”
He charged forward and kicked the woman away.
Upon seeing Charlie, Claire broke down into tears, crying out, “Husband, save me…”
Charlie drew from the “Apocalyptic Book,” channeling all the energy within his body into his fists, and struck the two bodyguards binding his wife.
Boom!
The two were sent flying and crashed into the wall, unconscious!
Freed from her captors, Claire felt her legs turn to jelly and nearly collapsed.
Charlie quickly rushed to her side and caught her in his arms. Seeing the slap mark on her face tore at his heart!
“Claire, don’t worry! Your husband will make things right!”
Claire wept as she clung to Charlie, sobbing, “Husband… Husband, please take me home…”
Charlie gently patted her back, reassuring her, “Don’t worry, I’ll take you home right now, no one will harm you!”
As he spoke, he infused her with a stream of his energy, lulling Claire into a deep sleep.
He then placed Claire on the nearby sofa and commanded Isaac Cameron, “Protect my wife!”
Isaac Cameron nodded solemnly, affirming, “Young Master, rest assured. If anything happens to the young mistress on my watch, I’ll hold myself accountable!”
Charlie turned to the yellow-faced woman he had kicked aside, seized her by her collar and punched her squarely in the face. “You dare to hit my wife?”
Blood streamed from the yellow-faced woman’s face as she screamed, “How dare you strike me! Do you know who I am? I will kill you!”
She then shouted to her bodyguards, “Kill him! Kill him! I’ll give anyone who takes him down a million!”
Excited, several bodyguards charged at Charlie.
Charlie looked at Isaac Cameron’s men with a cold stare and ordered, “Take them out! No mercy!”
In an instant, the men in black drew black pistols and opened fire on the bodyguards!
The bodyguards were taken completely by surprise, never expecting the men in black would be armed!
Their marksmanship was impeccable!
Each shot found its mark, striking the heads of the bodyguards directly!
In moments, all of the yellow-faced woman’s bodyguards lay dead, their heads blown apart!
Stunned by the chaos, the yellow-faced woman gasped, “Y-You… who are you?”
Charlie smirked, “I am Claire’s husband!”
Daniel, standing frozen nearby, trembled in fear, “Y-You’re the son-in-law? How… how could this be…?”
Charlie chuckled, “What’s the matter? Are you curious how a son-in-law like me can wield such power?”
Daniel nodded vigorously.
The yellow-faced woman, regaining her composure, blurted out, “Let me introduce myself! I’m Sharon Frye, daughter of the Frye family from Lancaster! Have you heard of us? Our family has ties with the Wade family in Eastcliff! If you mess with me, no matter how powerful you think you are, the Frye family won’t let you off! And neither will the Wade family!”
“Oh?” Charlie replied coldly, “You’d better listen closely. I am the Young Master of the Wade family in Eastcliff! I am your Young Master! My name is Charlie!!!”
“Boom!!!”
At those words, Sharon felt as though she had been struck by lightning! She stared at Charlie, wide-eyed, as if seeing a ghost.

Elaine deflated instantly, her expression falling as she said, “I thought you were successful and could mingle with important people, but it turns out it’s just because of their good service…”

His voice turned pale and he trembled slightly as if gripped by fear.
Charlie frowned and asked calmly, “Is the jade cracked?”
“Indeed, Mr. Wade is truly perceptive. You’re absolutely right.” With deep reverence, Graham continued, “I followed your advice and worshipped the jade plug. I instructed my family to adhere to a vegetarian diet for seven days and avoid bloodshed.”
“However, my incompetent nephew Adam secretly consumed pigeon soup, accidentally tainting the jade plug with pigeon blood. It immediately shattered into pieces. I punished him and confined him at home, but strange occurrences continue to unfold!”
Charlie furrowed his brow and asked, “What strange occurrences?”

Graham kept insistent, “Yes, I will inquire further privately, but I still must trouble you, Master Wade.”

Claire appeared somewhat uncomfortable, sitting across from him with her hands nervously twisted together.
Daniel smiled and asked, “Miss. Wilson, did you come to discuss a potential collaboration with me today?”
Feeling a bit sheepish, Claire replied, “To be honest, Mr. Koch, our Wilson Group has been experiencing some cash flow issues lately and I wanted to ask if we could purchase a batch of building materials on credit.”
“On credit?” Daniel responded with an awkward expression. “Miss. Wilson, you should know our Elite Vault Enterprise’s stance. We don’t engage in credit transactions, we require payment up front before dispatching materials…”
“I understand,” Claire said apologetically. “I really don’t have any other options. But please rest assured, we have a partnership with Emgrand Group, which is the largest enterprise in Aurous Hill. They will definitely honor their payments for our project. Once the payment is received on time, we will immediately settle our due payment with you!”
